To make this Mice and Rat repellent the first thing you'll need is a few simple plastic containers.
Next, inside the container mix 2-3 tablespoons of wheat flour and 1-2 tablespoons of yeast.
Finally, add some grated cheese into the mixture.
Place the containers where you have seen rats or mice such as holes, cracks, and crevices.
Pay special attention to drains in bathrooms and kitchens; behind cabinets and appliances; in air ducts and ventilation systems; in piles of clutter; in storage containers; in hollow walls; and garages, and basements.
Once the mice and rats come across the containers, they will be attracted by the smell of the cheese, and they will ingest the mixture which will start to ferment in their stomachs.
The rat or mouse will be unable to digest it, and ultimately, they will suffocate.
The mixture can also be sprinkled in difficult to reach areas or around yards, so it's more tempting to the rodent.

Rats are known to use a 22-kHz ultrasonic vocalisation as a distress call to warn of danger to other members of their group. We monitored 22-kHz ultrasonic vocalisation emissions in rats (lean and obese) as part of a sleep deprivation study to detect the eventual presence of stress during the procedure. Unexpectedly, we detected ultrasonic vocalisation emission during rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, but not during non-REM (NREM) sleep, in all the rats. The event occurs during the expiratory phase and can take place singularly or as a train. No difference was detected in the number or duration of these events in lean versus obese rats, during the light versus the dark period, and after sleep deprivation. As far as we know, this is the first report showing that rats can vocalise during REM sleep.

Abstract
Aggressive behaviour has been observed in rats, Rattus norvegicus, and fourteen other species of small mammals. Ultrasounds were detected during aggressive behaviour in at least seven of these species, and in rats two distinct types of signal were recorded. Short ultrasounds of 3 to 65 ms duration and at frequencies of about 50 kHz were produced in aggressive situations, while long pulses up to 3400 ms duration and at about 25 kHz appeared to be synchronous with the long exhalations of submissive rats. Aggressive behaviour was reduced in encounters where long pulses were emitted. The physical characteristics of the ultrasounds produced by the different species are described and the importance of these signals in the establishment and maintenance of social relationships in small mammals is discussed.

How it works:
The oats, oatmeal, flour-sugar combination, powdered chocolate or peanut butter is the irresistible bait to entice rodents to consume plaster of Paris. It is the latter which is the rodenticide.
Plaster of Paris is heated gypsum. Gypsum is calcium sulfate dihydrate (CaSO4.2H2O), and when heated to 120–180 °C becomes gypsum plaster, or plaster of Paris. This is calcium sulfate hemihydrate [(CaSO4)2.H2O].
Gypsum hardens on contact with water, and thus the plaster of Paris hardens inside a rat's or mouse's stomach or further down in the digestive tract. This blocks their gut and acts in two ways: one by preventing further food digestion and one by causing bloat. Rodents can't vomit, can't otherwise expel the mass, and have an urge to take on more water, which just exacerbates their condition.
Apparently death is relatively quick, as in 2-4 hours.

Dangerous Rodenticides and Their Ingredients
Exposure to rat poison remained on the ASPCA TopTen Pet Toxin List for over the last 5 years. While dogs and cats are not the intended "victims" of rat poisoning, sadly, they often are. In order to entice rodents to eat the bait, many of them are very tasty. Not only does it attract rodents, it attracts pets since they think it may be a yummy treat.
While many of the more common rodenticides kill by causing prolonged internal bleeding, not all do! Some kill by causing kidney failure, while others kill through their devastating effect on the cellular metabolism throughout the body. Differences in temperament and personality
Rats can be quite territorial, and while guinea pigs can be too, they're not as aggressive about it as their fellow rodents. It's pretty likely that there would be some conflict between them for dominance in the cage if they were to be kept together, especially if you have males of either animal. Guinea pigs are already easily stressed out, and excess stress is bad for their immune system! Stress weakens it and leaves them vulnerable to infection and illness.
If a fight were to occur between the two animals, it's very likely that the guinea pigs would lose, and in many cases, even die. Rats have very large and very sharp teeth, as well as sharp claws. Remember that rats are responsible for the spread of lots of disease among humans, and the same is possible if they're put into living environments with animals outside of their own species.
Guinea pigs are already so susceptible to infection naturally, keeping them in the vicinity of a rat that could attack and bite them is putting them at a risk for something that you could easily prevent by not housing them together.
Both animals are social and it's advised that rats are raised together in small groups just like it's recommended that guinea pigs live in groups and herds. However, rats and guinea pigs should not be in herds together.

Unfortunately, the problem isn't the cage and the diet, the problem is different species of animals can not live together. Here are some reasons why it wouldn't work: Cage differences, dietary differences, and chances of the rat killing the guinea pig.
Cage differences: Guinea pigs need low cages that has a large amount of square footage and lots of bedding to snuggle into. Rats however, love to climb, they need high cages.
Dietary differences: Guinea pigs are herbivores (they eat only plants) and rats are omnivores. (An animal that feeds on animals and plants.) Separating them to eat wouldn't work, as it would be a ton of work, and there are other reasons why they just can't live together.
Also, there are chances of the rat killing and eating the guinea pig.
In addition, a guinea pig could spread diseases to a rat and vice versa, so you don't want to risk that.
So please, please, please don't put them together, they could hurt or kill each other and they wouldn't live a happy life.
The biggest thing that I have seen so far is that rats are predators and piggies are prey.

Spray a few drops of diesel on the floor once a month. However, exercise caution when handling diesel.
As I have been trying this trick for the last 6 months, I can attest to the effectiveness of this method, having struggled with rat issues in my car.
Despite trying various solutions like rat repellents, peppermint oil, and even rat glue, the problem persisted. Rats shredded the inner rubber lining of my front fender, although luckily spared the wiring.
After trying this diesel trick, it worked wonders. The rat issue disappeared, and I no longer have to deal with daily cleanups of rubber shreds or sleepless nights worrying about further damage.
In case you are parking in an open space, you need to increase the spraying frequency to get the desired result.
We stored organic manure in a shed where rats were causing chaos, chewing through bags and spoiling the contents. One day, I accidentally left a leaking diesel can in the shed, which spilled all over the floor. Before cleaning it up, new manure stock arrived, so I placed a plastic sheet on the diesel-soaked floor to protect the bags. To my surprise, the rats disappeared, and we never had to worry about them again. It seems the strong smell of diesel deterred them, or perhaps it made the manure unappealing. Either way, this unexpected solution worked wonders, saving us from further losses.
It's worth trying and you will gain peace of mind. Give it a shot - you have nothing to lose by trying it out.

The comments were made to refute remarks made by U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who said on Wednesday that the U.S. is going to impose visa restrictions on certain employees of Chinese tech firms that provide material support to regimes engaging in human rights violations and abuses globally. It is up to the Chinese people, rather than U.S. politicians, to judge China's performance in human rights, Hua said.
The spokesperson said since the founding of the People's Republic of China more than 70 years ago, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, Chinese people have scored remarkable achievements by seeking a development path suited to their own national conditions.
Hua said over the past four decades and more, China has experienced a 25-fold plus increase in its per capita income, lifted 850 million people out of poverty, and contributed more than 70 percent to the global poverty alleviation effort.
At the same time, Hua said China has become the second-largest economy in the world without resorting to wars, colonialism or slavery, the only one among all major countries to do so. For more than a decade in a row, China has contributed more than 30 percent to global GDP growth.
"These are the biggest human rights projects, the best human rights practices, and the biggest contributions to the world human rights endeavor," Hua said, adding these achievements are there for all to see as long as it is viewed without bias.
Pertaining to the human rights situation in the United States, Hua said the U.S. uprooted and killed Indians in the Westward Movement for nearly a century after its founding, noting their population plunged from 5 million to 250,000, only one-twentieth of the original number.
Hua said during more than 240 years of American history since its founding, it has been war-free for only 16 years, adding the wars and military actions waged since 2001 in countries like Iraq, Libya, Syria, and Afghanistan caused more than 800,000 deaths, and tens of millions of civilians were displaced as a result.

In the U.S., ethnic minorities including African Americans find themselves in a tough situation, Hua said. "George Floyd was not the only person suffocated to death because he 'couldn't breathe', as racial discrimination is pervasive in the United States."
In all Western countries, the U.S. suffers from the most serious polarization between the rich and poor, Hua said, adding the bottom 50 percent saw essentially zero net gains in wealth from 1989 to 2018, and the wealth gap has hit a 50-year high.
"I wonder how Pompeo, in the face of these hard facts, has the confidence to talk to China about human rights," said the spokesperson.
"I'd rather suggest he first asks George Floyd and other ethnic minorities about how they see human rights conditions in the United States, and ask those innocent lives tragically lost in Iraq, Libya, and other countries about how they see the U.S. performance on human rights," Hua added. ■

- In an interview with Qatari news outlet Al Jazeera, Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad provided insight into his country's experience operating American manufactured F-18 Hornet fighter jets and the considerable limitations imposed on operations by Washington. The Royal Malaysian Air Force currently operates three classes of fighter, including the high end heavyweight Russian Su-30MKM as its most modern platform and small numbers of older medium weight F-18 and MiG-29 platforms. Mahathir noted regarding the terms imposed by the U.S. on clients for its fighter aircraft that the source codes for the jets were not provided, meaning: "we cannot program the plane for any attacks against other countries without getting the programming done by Americans. So although the planes are very good, in terms of performance very powerful engines, but we cannot program the plane by ourselves. You have to refer to the United States for putting the program for any raid on foreign countries for example. So our planes were costly. We have them. We can fly them at airshows. But we cannot use them to fight any other country because we don't get the source code."
Mahathir further elaborated: "The way they treated Malaysia as a buyer of the F-18, we find that the planes are only good for airshows. But we cannot program it for, say, attacks against other countries or for any other use. That is the experience of Malaysia. But I suspect that other countries also did not get the source codes… the planes are not really a weapon that you can control. The control is with the Americans." He noted that European states may be provided with source codes, but indicated that few non-Western states would, and that even munitions for the F-18s could not be purchased to update the aircraft without approval from the U.S. government. The interviewer thus concluded that clients for F-16 of F-18 fighters "can only use them against targets designated by the United States, not targets that they themselves would like to hit."
Mahathir's statement has considerable implications given that Malaysia is currently considering purchasing a new generation of fighter jets to replace its F-18, MiG-29 and possibly even the Su-30. Kuala Lumpur has previously indicated an interest in the Russian MiG-35 and Su-57 next generation medium and heavyweight fighters, and Russia has offered to purchase its MiG-29s second hand to help offset the cost of a MiG-35 purchase. The Su-57 is likely to replace the Su-30MKM in future, although given the older platform's still viable capabilities there is less of an urgent need to make such a purchase. While other countries operating the F-18 have sought to replace them either with the F-18E Super Hornet or the F-35A Lightning II platforms, the Prime Minister's account of Malaysia's experience with the Hornet indicates that future purchases of American fighters are unlikely. The F-18 could instead be replaced by more MiG-35 fighters, which are from the same weight range but have a lower operational cost and superior combat performance across the spectrum. Unlike U.S. aircraft, Russian fighters do not have similar restrictions on their use meaning countries can deploy them far more freely without political dependance on Moscow.

- The history of Lend-Lease began on May 15, 1940 when UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill asked Roosevelt to temporarily give Britain 40-50 old destroyers in exchange for British naval and air bases in the Atlantic Ocean.
The Americans remembered a law from 1892 in accordance with which the defense secretary can "lease army property for a maximum of five years if the country does not need it." Based on this law a supply program was developed, which Roosevelt signed into law on March 11, 1941.
According to the program, American materials "destroyed, lost or used during the war were not subject to payment." What had to be paid for was the property that remained after the war and was used for civilian purposes.

- Some Australians and permanent residents stuck overseas during the coronavirus crisis have described a new loan scheme to help those struggling financially as "useless", a "cruel joke" and "political bulls***t".
The federal government earlier this week announced Australians stuck abroad in financial hardship can access one-off loans of between $2,000 and $5,000 to help them with emergency living costs or flights home.
There are strict eligibility criteria involved and people will have to prove they're in genuine need of the loans, including providing evidence they can't get funds from family or friends, banks or insurance companies.
If the loan is not repaid within six months the government could cancel their passport.

Psychologist Sandi James, who is stuck in London, said the loans were a "joke" and "political bulls***t" because "hardly anyone" could access them.
